Week 9
This week was pretty eventful. I started noticing my grades were drooping last week. I talked to Sarah and asked for some guidance and reassurance on how to proceed. What I did was talked to my professors in the classes I was struggling with. One professor told me since I hated the connect assignments that she would go ahead and have meeting with me personally to go over the material and then count that as my grade. One professor is having me redo a couple of assignments. Hopefully this will help me focus on my grades more and becoming a more successful online learner.
On the side of being an ambassador I had my weekly help desk shifts which were awesome. I love being on campus and seeing a couple of people. Although its not as busy as we are used to there are still a good amount of people that come and see us. I also had meetings scheduled with my mentees on Thursday. Sadly no one showed up which was really disappointing. I emailed them asking if there was another time the wanted to meet, I still haven't gotten an answer from them. All in all I hope they are doing all right and everything works out in the following weeks. Also Happy Halloween Week!
